04:21:2002 Entry: "Oh, the Irony"

Oh, the Irony

Tim didn't even know about our dirty little secret as we're about to become couch killers. I talked to him on the phone today, and you'll never guess the movie he was just watching. Yup..."Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer."

I'm also planning on salvaging the upholstery (most of it is in excellent condition), and make something else out of it, in the grand old Wisconsin Ed Gein tradition.

Recycling, that's the spirit =o)

We'd probably recycle the furniture for our cats to sink their claws into. We have a "kitty" room upstairs. In case people wonder when they come over our house ... yes the four cat boxes are in the "kitty" room. The room's got all the kitty amenities ... besides a bathroom, there's an old chair, toys, piles of folded up blankets and little kitty-carpet gyms. I think if Michael and I had the time, we would recycle our fading furniture for the kitty room.

Henry The Serial Killer ... *lol* seen it ... another one of our favorites in the "Distrubing" category. Ever see "Man Bites Dog"? Great popcorn flick!

"Henry" is probably the most disturbing movie I've seen, and I have a high gore tolerance.

The other most disturbing movie I've seen was a documentary that focussed on the trial of three teenage boys accused of killing three young boys and being involved in satan worship. I forgot the name of the movie, darnit. It was so disturbing because the trial seemed like a sham and the teenagers seemed innocent to me, but not to the town who wanted quick answers and the "freaks" to hang.
