Frequently, LOST episodes start with a closeup of someone's eye. There's got to be a connection somehow. But is it symbolic for something we haven't figured out yet, or just a reoccurring motif?

That is very cool and the Oceanic logo looks a lot like a protective talisman. Maybe one with some red eye like staying up late to catch the - red eye protective talisman flight - Ok, that's dumb.
I think sometimes this kind of thing would be are very good thing to have. Could this kind of protective talisman protect me from angry co-workers and bus drivers?
